GRADING

At the beginning of the semester each student will start out with 100%.

To maintain this, the student will have to do the following:
1. Attend all of the required events, unless permission by the instructor has been given.
2. Be ready to go when attendance is called, no tardies.
3. Play marching music memorized by a specific, predetermined date.

Grading Scale:
50%: Showing up ready to go, on time, with everything that is needed
25%: Participation in class activities,
25%: Playing of scales, and memorization of music (marching)/ improvement (concert).
