FUND RAISING

Fund raising will only occur when the director feels the need for extra funds (new uniforms, long trips, etc.), and the annual “cookie bake” and photo “community post card” that has been successful for the JDJ Band for the last 12 years. The “cookie bake” consists of each student providing a set number of cookies to be sold throughout the community for a profit. The “community post card” consists of charging people in the community to come out to the football field on a set day to create a formation and have a picture make for a post card to be sold in the community. All members of the JDJ Band are required to participate in both of these activities.
