AUDITIONS AND CHAIR PLACEMENT

All performers must audition for chair placement at the beginning of the band season consisting of 6 major scales, a short prepared piece, and a short sight-reading piece. To be sure correct part placement, the higher-level of players will be placed in all parts of each section (1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd parts, etc.) All parts of the music is equally important, so therefore all parts should be covered equally.
